Bonita Johnson's daughter standing out for LSU volleyball

BATON ROUGE - LSU setter Brittney Johnson, daughter of Lady Tiger basketball alum Bonita Johnson, was named to COBRA Magazine's All-Preseason Volleyball Team. The squad honors the top African-American collegiate players heading into the 2010 season.

Johnson, a two-time recipient of Jesse Owens Award presented to the African-American athlete with the highest GPA on campus, has passed out 835 assists during her first three seasons with the Tigers.
